Simon walked into Lucky 7, a bar that was a frequent hangout for people of his profession. Today it was surprisingly quiet, the news about a Baraclay Knight operating sucessfully in a region normally dominated by rouges likely making it quiet.

What was really annoying him was that he had gotten his shot and had blown it. While the encounter had been far from disastrous, it was the first time he had come away from an encounter on the losing end and that his Blitz had been damaged.

"I gotta come after him smarta'" Simon mused, his native accent breaking through a bit. "Gimme a beer." He motioned to the bartender, looking around at the sparse clientele.

Simon took a sip from his beer, barely turning to look as the bell on the door of the bar chimed and a figure seated himself down next to Simon.

"What are you doin' here Simon?"

Simon looked over, encountering the grizzled face of an old friend. "Just havin' a beer Frank. I can still do that, can't I?"

Frank shook his head. "Haven't you heard? That little stunt of yours is kicking up trouble. What the hell did ya attack him for?"

Simon lifted the bottle to his lips. "I didn't go out to. It seemed like a good idea at the time."

"Yeah, well it's given the Knight a major hardon for you. He went out looking last night, kicked up quite a stir. He didn't find you, but that didn't stop him some wrecking another rouge PA. He took a coupla shots himself, but that won't keep 'im down long. He's a PMC member, and you're just starting out. You don't stand a chance."

"And what should I do Frank? Leave the town to him?"

"Right now...yes. You're running out of friends fast here Cy." Frank clapped a hand on the Rouge's back. "You ain't ready for him yet, and you ain't gonna get the practice you need here. You've got some wheels now, right?"

Simon nodded silently.

"Good. If you wanna make the Knight howl, I suggest that you hurt them where it really counts: their wallets. In the meanwhile, Boston will take care of its own." Frank stood up, heading back to the door. "Get the bastards, will ya?"

Simon sat for a couple more minutes, simply watching the bottle in his hands. Frank was right, but Boston was home, and leaving it...

But since his crew died, he didn't really feel like joining up with any other, and there was no way for him to work alone. If he was going to beat the Knights, he would have to do it his way.

Simon tossed a few bills on the counter, heading for the door. "Cy, I thought you were gonna hang around for a bit. What's the rush?"

Simon looked back at the bartender, a somewhat apologetic look in his eyes. "Sorry Mikey, I need to pack." He tone darkened somewhat. "I'm gonna be taking a trip."
